On Saturday 8th February at Waterstones Bookshop, Market Harborough, I met Lizzie Lamb, Adrienne Vaughan and June Kearns all 3 authors there together for a special  joint book-signing. Congratulations to them for achieving the ‘Valentine’s Day theme’ shop window space displaying their romantic novels. It was lovely to meet them all; Lizzie and I had a good chat about how, why and where we got published. Here’s a picture taken just after I had bought a copy of her latest novel: Boot Camp Bride. She signed it for me too of course! Thanks Lizzie!

About theresaleflem

I am a novelist, artist and poet and I live in the Midlands with my husband and rescued greyhound Rosie. Having three novels published I have recently brought out a book of poems and sketches, a collection of my previously unpublished work going back thirty years. I am a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association, The Poetry Society and The Society of Authors. Born in London, living many years in Kent and Cornwall and married to a Guernsey man, I love the sea - it often features as a backdrop in my novels.

It was lovely to meet you and to realise that we had friends (and the RNA) in common. I must visit the bookshop you mentioned in Rugby. Maybe we could meet up for a coffee sometime?

    • Lovely to meet you too Lizzie and let me know next time you plan to visit Rugby and we’ll have that coffee together. Hunt’s bookshop is in the centre of Rugby, a few doors down from M & S.
Kelvin Hunt, the proprietor, supports local authors and sells new and second-hand books; worth a visit!
Good luck with your new novel and see you again soon. Best wishes, Theresa
